What is the Expression Studio
The Expression Studio model is a commercially designed structure that maintains the core values and experience of our flagship Conceptual Art Studio, while being scalable and operationally simple. The Expression Studio has fixed timings for opening and closing, and operates on walk-ins only — no prior booking is required.
The space allows people to engage in uninhibited artistic expression — painting walls, canvases, or playfully playing with paints. The Expression Studio is an embodiment of the ultimate experience of expressionism and joy.

We at Shades of Joy were never driven by money — it was always about ideology, philosophy & spreading freedom & joy. What's always excited us about money is the difference we can make with it to people's lives, and how we can guide the transformation of society. With those thoughts in mind, the Shades of Joy Foundation was built.
"We are about self expression, not painting. It's about emotion, not technique. This is not a class, we don't want to teach. We simply want you to be you & create."
Every studio is private when you book it. Every activity is untimed unless we say otherwise. Every person is welcome — alone, with one friend, with a hundred. The studio doesn't care who you are.
The atmosphere is truly special. Smooth jazz or techno echoing off paint-spattered walls. The wind often singing. Come as you are.
We will be allocating 2% of monthly profits from all ventures under the Shades of Joy brand to the Foundation & its projects. We do not accept any donation. We over time will be creating events, products & NFTs — the proceeds of which will all be given to the foundation & its projects/causes.
Sharing of ProsperityDedicated to helping & feeding the poor & homeless. Today we feed nearly 200 people once a month in Vadodara. The vision is to educate, house & spread prosperity.
POGO ProjectDedicated to animals. (Pogo was our puppy who passed away when he was just 8 weeks old, in his memory & love we have formed this project.) Action plan under development.
